A Lesson in Figurative Language
The funniest thing just happened. I was singing under my breath while Claire and I were hanging out (a Tangled song, as that was what we were watching.) She asked me what I was doing, and I told her I just had a song in my head. She repeated this question a few times over the course of the next 10 minutes or so as I kept absentmindedly singing and humming. Finally she said, "Let me check." She walked over to me and put her ear to the side of my head. I was perplexed. "Claire, what are you doing?" To which she replies, "I'm listening for the music in your head. I don't hear it!"
